Freelance Electrical Co-ordinator / Engineer

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Co-ordinator / Engineer to support delivery on a major industrial construction project in Deeside.

This is a long-term freelance opportunity working on a high-value, technically complex development, supporting the management and delivery of electrical packages through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordination of electrical installation activities across site
  • Managing and reviewing electrical documentation and technical submissions
  • Supporting testing, commissioning and handover processes
  • Ensuring all QA, O&M manuals and as-built information are completed correctly
  • Liaising with subcontractors, commissioning teams and project management
  • Oversight of LV distribution systems, switchgear and associated electrical infrastructure
  • Monitoring progress against programme and resolving technical issues where required

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as an Electrical Co-ordinator, Electrical Engineer or similar on large-scale industrial or major construction projects
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and switchgear
  • Experience managing project documentation, QA processes and handover packs
  • Ability to work closely with site teams, subcontractors and commissioning engineers
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • ECS / CSCS preferred
