We are currently looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a long-term groundworks package on the South Coast.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is confident working independently and looking for a stable, long term contract.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years setting out / engineering experience
- Strong groundworks experience essential
- Must have AutoCAD on own laptop
- Own surveying equipment advantageous
- Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Must be based within commutable distance of the South Coast
- Full UK driving licence and own transport required
- Valid CSCS Card essential
- Reliable and able to commit to the full 35-week programme
Duties
- Setting out for groundworks package
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Maintaining site accuracy and quality standards
- Liaising with site teams and management
- Producing and maintaining as-built information where required
