Van Installation Driver

Here at Driver Hire Southampton we are looking for a reliable, full-time driver to deliver and collect heating and cooling units across customer sites. This is a hands-on role and is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and on the move.

This position offers an excellent introduction to the refrigeration engineering industry, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the field.

About this Van Driving role:

• Temp-Perm position working Monday to Friday
• Working minimum 40 hours a week plus overtime
• Delivering and collecting of heating and cooling units to customers sites unsupervised
• Element of insulation- setting up simple systems, positioning of equipment
• Loading and unloading of units from 3.5T tail lift vehicle
• Training provided

What we require from you:

• Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years
• Own transport to commute to and from work
• Happy with manual handling and heavy lifting
• Mechanical engineering or electrical background would be beneficial
• Great time keeping and customer service skills
• Stable work background with long-standing positions
• Flexible to work overtime when required
