We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner / Carpenter to join a busy social housing maintenance team covering Hulme and surrounding areas. This is a permanent position carrying out repairs, maintenance, and improvement works within occupied and void properties. The successful candidate will have a strong background in social housing repairs and be capable of delivering high-quality workmanship while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day joinery and carpentry repairs within social housing properties.
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance works.
- Repair and replace doors, frames, skirting boards, kitchens, flooring, and other timber-based components.
- Undertake basic multi-trade tasks where required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Provide a professional service to tenants and residents.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Joinery/Carpentry or equivalent.
- Previous experience working within social housing repairs and maintenance.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Multi-trade skills would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £43,813.19 per annum.
- Company Van provided.
- Tools provided.
- PPE provided.
- Overtime available.
- Permanent position.
- 40 hours per week.
- Shift pattern of 11:30am–8:00pm on four weekdays, plus every Saturday 8:00am–4:30pm.
